The Bookstore Clerk is the story of Wade, a grieving and precarious bookstore deaf clerk who goes on about his life trying to make the most of it.
It seems that he is a regular guy with a lovely attitude and a wife back home, but as he starts getting tested and his crumbling psyche begins to make him take wrongful decisions, he kills his boss after a mischievous sexual encounter that could have compromised his marriage. Soon enough, Wade’s past starts to haunt him, setting him off of a right mind.
Consequently, Wade becomes unhinged, slowly revealing the poisonous and tragic truth about his persona and his dead wife that sets him off once again and makes him commit suicide just before the police catch him.
